Frequently Asked Questions - Buyers

1. What do you mean by a Cash Back Rebate?
What we mean is if you use a ReadyTM Realtor® to represent you on the purchase of an existing home or a new home, you may receive up to $2,000 Cash Back from Ready Real Estate upon closing and funding of your new home or property. For example, if you purchased a $200,000 home, your Ready Real Estate rebate could be as high as $1,000.

2. Can I get the rebate on any home I buy?
Most homes listed in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) that you search for on our site are eligible for the Cash Back Rebate – that includes homes listed by other companies. You must use a ReadyTM Realtor® as your buyer's agent and Ready Real Estate must receive a 3% commission from the listing broker or builder to qualify. This will include most properties listed in the MLS and most homes sold by new home builders.

3. What if I want to build a new home or purchase a new home in a builder subdivision?
A ReadyTM Realtor® can still represent you as a buyer's agent, protect your interests and pay you cash back. Remember: be sure to register with the builder only when you are accompanied by a ReadyTM Realtor®. The Cash Back Rebate is paid by Ready Real Estate, not by the builder, so again, don't sign anything without your ReadyTM Realtor® present to represent your interests.

4. What if I find a piece of land or a vacant lot that I want to purchase?
Most pieces of property are eligible for the cash back rebate. Please contact Ready Real Estate if you questions about a particular piece of property. We would be happy to assist you in your property purchase.

5. Why would I want a ReadyTM Realtor® to be my buyer's representative?
In most cases, the agent whose sign is in the yard represents the seller and the seller's interests. It is in your interest as a buyer to have a ReadyTM Realtor® represent you to protect your interests and to negotiate on your behalf. There is never a charge to the buyer. Additionally, the buyer's representation agreement also allows us to give you a cash-back rebate.

6. I am currently under buyer's representation with another real estate company. Can I still get a Cash Back Rebate from Ready Real Estate?
Unfortunately, once you have signed a buyer's representation agreement, you are under contract to work with that real estate brokerage firm. We are only able to offer the Cash Back Rebate to clients who work with a ReadyTM Realtor®.

7. I've always heard that if something is too good to be true, it probably is. So what's the catch?
When you buy a home using a Ready Realtor, there is no catch. You get full service; you pay no fees and better still - WE PAY YOU.

Frequently Asked Questions - Sellers

1. What is the commission to sell my home?
Ready Real Estate will provide a full service listing for only 4.5% compared to other companies who may charge 6% - 8%.

2. How is the commission calculated?
The commission is calculated on the final selling price of the home. For example, if your home sold for $100,000, your commission expense would be $4,500.

3. If I list with Ready Real Estate, can other Realtors from other companies show my home?
Yes, in fact, Ready Real Estate will pay out a 3% commission (from our 4.5%) to any Realtor who finds a buyer for your home. So, we pay out 3% to a buyer's agent and keep only 1.5%.

4. What do you mean by full service? What does that include?
Ready Real Estate's comprehensive list of services includes providing you with complete listing in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), attractive yard sign with flyer tube, electronic lock-box, professional appointment service, full market analysis of your home, multiple digital pictures, professional color brochures, password-protected showing feedback via the internet and more. Some services may vary slightly from region to region. But always, a ReadyTM Realtor® will be there to help you every step of the way, all the way to closing.

5. At 4.5%, do I have to do my own paper work?
No, a ReadyTM Realtor® will handle all contracts and negotiations, working as an advocate for you, the seller.

6. How will you market and promote my home?
Ready Real Estate will promote your home through our website ReadyRealEstate.com, which in turn is promoted through a comprehensive marketing campaign. Additionally, your listing will appear on the MLS and all Realtors® will have access to your listing for their buyers. Your listing will be placed on Realtor.com with a color photo and we will provide you with professionally designed brochures for your yard sign tube or to place in your home. We also have highly visible and recognizable “Ready For Sale” yard signs. But best of all, you will have a ReadyTM Realtor® working exclusively to sell your home to their buyers and to the real estate community.
